Sales / Community Engagement Specialist – Westchester and Rockland Counties – Remote

HealthlinkNY connects health care providers across NY State to their patients’ complete medical history through the Health Information Exchange, ultimately advancing health care quality and reducing costs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales / Community Engagement Specialist to join our supportive and growing team. As Sales / Community Engagement Specialist to, you will be primarily responsible for engaging health care professionals to participate with the health information exchange (HIE), including all levels of community health care providers and health care systems.

This is a travel-intensive role, in which you will work M-F from approximately 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, visiting targeted entities in Westchester and Rockland County.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, plan, develop & manage customer accounts and relationships
  • Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) system data for reporting
  • Contact and visit provider practices to recruit new participants
  • Perform training and education delivery for healthcare professionals on HIE services
  • Prepare, develop, and conduct presentations in small and large group settings
  • Work with customers to determine eligibility for incentive programs related to the business of reporting and exchanging health information
  • Lead a strategic project(s) to achieve company goals and outcomes
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

 

Requirements for the Outreach/ Sales Specialist:

  • Associates degree and/or job experience in a similar or related field
  • Valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle
  • Highly motivated and target driven; Outside sales experience required
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Background or knowledge of health information technology a strong plus
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) a plus
