HealthlinkNY Launches a New Website
August 17th, 2015
HealthlinkNY launches a new website to create easier access to more information for patients and physicians.
HealthlinkNY launched its new website on August 6th
. The new site provides a cleaner look and is more user friendly.
In addition to the improved access and appearance of the site the site combines content from the former Southern Tier Healthlink (STHL) web page and from the Taconic Health Information Network and Community (THINC) web page as a result of the two Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs) merging to form HealthlinkNY.
This allows for all available programs and services to be viewed by the 11 counties HealthlinkNY covers in both the Southern Tier and the Hudson Valley.
The new site displays clearly defined locations for patients, providers, community initiatives, news, events and information about how to contact HealthlinkNY and its staff members. The site provides an opportunity to learn more about HealthlinkNY and what the Health Information Exchange (HIE) can do for both patients and area providers.
The Community Health page on the website is dedicated to providing information about the population health initiatives HealthlinkNY is involved in as an effort to help improve and transform healthcare.
The programs and initiatives are focused on identifying opportunities to improve healthcare, creating a strategy for wellness, lowering healthcare costs and reducing health care disparities.
The page allows you to search:
· Health Data
· Demographic Data
· Health Disparities (in the Southern Tier and Hudson Valley)
· Track Progress
· Locate Promising Practices
· Compare Indicators
· Find Grants
· Create Reports
· Socioneeds Index
