HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley goes live with Medical Document Management

July 13th, 2015 - The integrated health care system can now transmit clinical care documents through HealthlinkNY.

HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley is an integrated health care system focused on providing quality care to its patients, their families and the community.

The health care system includes the Mary’s Ave Campus, Broadway Campus, Margaretville Hospital, Mountainside Residential Care Center, a skilled nursing facility; and Woodland Pond at New Paltz, a continuing-care retirement community.

The multi-campus health system is currently live at its Broadway Campus with the Medical Document Management (MDM) connection.   This allows the Broadway Campus to send transcribed reports to the HealthlinkNY Health Information Exchange (HIE).

Currently, system testing is being done at Margaretville Hospital for the same HealthlinkNY HIE connection.

The campus has an outlook for a bi-directional connection to the HealthlinkNY HIE in the coming months.
